NI as New Irrationalism: Exhibition at the Voyiatzoglou Art Gallery

The Voyiatzoglou Gallery presents the exhibition "NI as New Irrationalism" at the first meeting of the NI group with the artistic audience, edited by Christos Christofi.
New Irrationalism (New Irrationalism) expresses a new way of visual thinking, where self-explanatory notions stand. The visual product, the work, is the result of collective effort with a secret identity.
The NI team was created three years ago as a workshop of visual experiments and remains open for new members. She found shelter in the hospitable Building 1 of the Vogiatzoglou Gallery and this exhibition is the first presentation of their works.
They describe their actions themselves: We experiment in times of individualism and loneliness for a new team, for the ability to create common visions. We make imagination. We are changing spaces, changing ways and habits. We're up and running. We paint paintings other than what we each knew to say. The report includes two thematic sections of works. Works with intense political commentary and works with references to the history of art. Common feature humor.
